Movie poster maker, assets and video

Scenaloom is a movie poster maker and more: it generates production assets from what your project already holds — film and cast posters, storyboard frames, portraits and look sheets, scene stills, short video takes and audio. Each generation uses credits, and the cost shows on the button before you run it.

What you can generate

  • Media (script projects, under Production): Film poster and Cast poster images; Teaser and Scene performance, short clips made from what the project holds; and Directors' discussion and Read-through audio.
  • Storyboard frames for shots, and scene stills drawn from a scene's description and art requirements.
  • Character portraits and look sheets, location scouting images and prop images.
  • Illustrations of a passage in a novel, with Visualize.
  • Video takes for production reels and video projects.

Movie poster maker: film and cast posters

Under Production in a script project, Film poster makes a one-sheet for the film and Cast poster a vertical poster around a character. The form starts from what the project holds, its title, genre and outline; a Film poster can take one of the film looks, and a Cast poster takes the character you pick and one of twelve poster styles, from streaming key art to a painted studio-era look. It works like an AI movie poster generator that already knows your story, and Teaser does the same for a short trailer-style clip. The credit cost shows on the button, and you can make another version until one fits the pitch.

How credits are charged

Every generate button shows its cost in credits before you start, and Scenaloom checks your balance first. If a generation fails, or the provider declines the request, the credits come back automatically and the task is marked as refunded. Free credits are spent first and purchased credits last. Tasks lists every generation with its status: pending, running, completed, failed or cancelled.

Production reels

In a script project, Production turns each scene into reels: clips of 5 to 15 whole seconds, with each shot at least one second long. Fill reels from the script drafts reels from a scene, and Suggest shots proposes the shots for a reel. For each reel you set the cast, the location, the clip length and Direction — the mood, lens, light or effects added to every frame and take.

  1. Describe the shots, then choose Draw storyboard frame.
  2. Shoot takes from the frame and pick the final take.
  3. Turn on Continue from previous reel when the video should pick up where the reel before it ends.
  4. Download frames or takes in bulk when you are done.

Video projects and the multi-track timeline

A Video project is built for short films made from generated reels. Choose its orientation, type and camera when you set it up; they are fixed once the first frame or take exists. The film timeline holds the reels in order, with audio and subtitle tracks you can rename and mute.

Exporting a film

Export joins each reel's chosen take, in order, with unmuted audio and subtitles at 720p, right in your browser. Keep the tab visible while it encodes, which takes about the film's running time. Browser export handles up to 30 minutes per film and needs a current desktop Chrome, Edge or Safari, and every reel needs a finished take first.
