Develop the story

Beat sheet template
Three structures side by side (three-act, the fifteen-beat sheet and the hero's journey), each beat with its share of the story and its page in a 90- and a 110-page script, and a column for what happens in yours.
Story outline template
A scene-by-scene grid (sequence, scene, scene heading, what happens, what changes, characters and estimated pages) to plan a draft or break down one you already have.

Film treatment template
The five parts a treatment needs (title and logline, main characters, setting and tone, the story act by act, and the ending), each with a one-line prompt, as a printable PDF and a plain-text file to paste into any editor.
Write the script

Screenplay template
A title page and a short scene in standard screenplay format, with every element at its real margin: scene heading, action, character cue, parenthetical, dialogue and transition. Open the .fdx in Final Draft, the .fountain in any Fountain editor, or print the PDF.
Prepare the shoot

Storyboard templates
Printable sheets of empty frames, each with fields for the shot number, its size, the camera move and its length in seconds: one in widescreen 16:9, one in vertical 9:16 for short-form and social video.
Import a script (FDX, Fountain or PDF); its scenes, cast and locations fill the sheet.
Shot list template
The columns a shoot needs (scene, shot, size, angle, movement, lens, description, cast, location, duration and notes) with one filled example row, as a CSV that opens in Google Sheets, Excel or Numbers.
Import a script (FDX, Fountain or PDF); its scenes, cast and locations fill the sheet.

Script breakdown sheet
One sheet per scene: scene number, pages in eighths, INT/EXT, set and DAY/NIGHT, a synopsis line, and a box for each element (cast, extras, stunts, props, set dressing, wardrobe, makeup and hair, vehicles and animals, effects, sound and music, equipment). The CSV has the same columns and a filled example row.
Import a script (FDX, Fountain or PDF); its scenes, cast and locations fill the sheet.

Call sheet template
A one-page call sheet: crew and shooting call, lunch and wrap, set address, parking, nearest hospital and weather, then the day's scenes, cast with pickup, hair and makeup and on-set times, extras, crew and notes. The CSV lists the same items by section for a sheet program.
Import a script (FDX, Fountain or PDF); its scenes, cast and locations fill the sheet.
