Plans and credits

Scenaloom has five monthly plans — Free, Writer ($20), Pro ($60), Studio ($100) and Studio Max ($400) — and yearly billing costs 20% less. Plans set your AI chat and writing-card allowance and your project limits; credits pay separately for image, video and audio generation.

Plans

  • Free ($0, no card needed): 10 assistant chats and 10 writing cards a month, 10 daily refresh credits, 2 screenplay, 2 film and 2 novel projects, script editing up to 400 lines per script, and collaboration.
  • Writer ($20 a month): 500 assistant chats and 500 writing cards a month, 600 credits a month plus 20 a day, and 10 projects of each type.
  • Pro ($60 a month): 2,000 chats and 2,000 writing cards a month, 2,800 credits a month plus 60 a day, and 20 projects of each type.
  • Studio ($100) and Studio Max ($400): the highest chat and card allowances, 6,000 and 32,000 credits a month plus 100 and 400 a day, and as many scripts, films and novels as you like.

The pricing page always shows the current allowances. Hiring an AI advisor needs a paid plan.

Chats, writing cards and credits

  • Assistant chats: requests to Scenaloom AI, counted against your monthly allowance.
  • Writing cards: each Rewrite, Expand or Describe result in a script or novel uses one.
  • Credits: pay for generated images, video and audio. AI chats and writing cards never use credits.

How credits are spent

The cost appears on every generate button before you start. Free credits are used first and purchased credits last. If a generation fails or is declined, its credits come back automatically.

Daily refresh credits

Each plan adds credits every UTC day: 10 on Free, 20 on Writer, 60 on Pro, 100 on Studio and 400 on Studio Max. They arrive the first time you use Scenaloom that day and don't roll over: whatever is left expires at midnight UTC, when the next day's arrive.

Buying credits

Buy a credit pack at any time; the credits are added once payment is confirmed. Purchased credits never expire, and unused credits from a pack can be refunded for a limited time after purchase — your credit history shows the date for each pack.

Checking your balance

Your balance shows at the top of the New page and in the account menu. Settings › Projects & usage lists credit activity — daily credits, generations, refunds and purchases — with your balance after each, and the Writing panel shows AI usage for the month.

Changing or canceling a plan

Change or cancel your plan in Settings › Plan & billing. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep the plan until then. The Credits Policy has the full rules.
