Scenaloom 0.3.0 reorganizes the workspace around the order the work happens in, makes every page lighter to load, and opens the public site to more writers: eleven free tools, among them an AI script generator, and guides and templates written for Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, Spanish-speaking, French and German writers.

Workspace

  • The project rail follows the work: Write (script, outline, storyboard, scenes and ideas), Story bible (characters, locations, props, worldview and knowledge), Production (reels, media and tasks), then AI advisors.
  • One Home lists every project, with filters for scripts, novels and video, and projects shared with you appear there before you open them.
  • Invitations name the person who invited you, and published scripts say what readers can copy.
  • Each part of the app loads on its own, so the script editor no longer downloads the novel or video tools, and public pages download none of the editor.

Writing and production

  • A new video project can start from a logline, and every generated take starts from it.
  • When a generation fails at the provider, the card offers to try another model.
  • The novel editor no longer jumps while it loads on a slow phone.
  • Media prices show before you run a job, with a note when a job costs more than your balance.

Free tools

The new AI script generator writes a short scene in screenplay format from your premise, with no sign-up: three drafts a day, each labelled as AI-generated, ready to save as PDF or Final Draft or to keep writing in a project.

Ten more free tools that run in your browser, need no account and upload nothing: a script timer, character and villain name generators, plot, movie title and logline generators, a screenplay formatter, an FDX, PDF and Fountain converter, a title page generator and a beat sheet calculator.

Feature and tool pages now include short videos of the editor, the storyboard and the tools at work.

Languages

  • The interface is now available in Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) as well as Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Korean.
  • Guides and free templates written for each market's own formats: 日本語, 한국어, 繁體中文, Español, Français and Deutsch.

Templates and guides

  • A free templates page groups every file by stage: beat sheet, outline and treatment; screenplay; breakdown sheet, shot list, storyboard and call sheet.
  • New guides on call sheets and short film ideas, a shooting-script section, and a refreshed look across every public page.
