We’ve updated our Terms of Service, Credits Policy and Privacy Policy. Most changes say more clearly what already happens, and some give you more.
What changed
- Terms, section 3 (AI features): AI use has a fair-use allowance each month, in addition to your plan’s chat and writing-card counts. When you reach it, AI requests pause until the month starts again or you move to a larger plan. Refused requests are not charged.
- Terms, section 4 (plans and payment): plans renew automatically until you cancel, a yearly plan gets an email 30 days before it renews, and you can withdraw from a plan within 14 days of its first payment with one button under Settings → Billing.
- Terms, section 5 (sharing and community): a person decides every report, and if we remove or restrict your content or account you get the reasons and can ask us to review the decision.
- Credits Policy: plan credits stay in your balance after a plan ends; a mid-day upgrade tops up that day’s daily credits; the referral reward for activity needs a picture, video or voice, as the app already said; a table read that cannot finish keeps what was read; credits taken back show on their own line in your history.
- Privacy Policy: the keyed hash of your inbox kept for the welcome credits is deleted after 24 months, and the fingerprint of each file Scenaloom generates is kept for 3 years with no account or person attached.
